Water Treatment Plant Operator

Left Hand Water District is currently seeking the right candidate for a Water Treatment Plant Operator position: with a class A, B, C, or D Colorado Water Operator Certificate. Entry level candidates will be considered. The Water Plant Operator is responsible for the operation of the District’s treatment plants and raw water systems in order to ensure that residents have adequate supplies of safe and clean water meeting or exceeding state, federal, and District regulations, policies, and standards.

Excellent benefits & pay commensurate with experience. The hiring range is $22.20/hr.-$32.00/hr dependent on experience. Candidates must be able to respond within 45 minutes of the plant in Longmont, CO. and be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and be on-call on a rotating basis. Water Distribition Technicial I-IV 

 Left Hand Water District is currently seeking the right candidate for a Water Distribution Technician I-IV position. The ideal candidate would have a background in water distribution system operations and maintenance. The position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the operation of water distribution facilities. Excellent benefits & pay; Colorado CDL, Colorado Water Distribution Certification, and experience operating excavating equipment preferable although training will be provided for the right candidate.

Excellent benefits & pay commensurate with experience. The hiring range is $20.00 – $30.00, dependent on qualifications. Candidates must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call on a rotating basis.
