Left Hand Water District

Planned Water Outage

Over night March 21st & 22nd – Arapahoe Road

IHC Scott will be working to relocate a portion of LHWD infrastructure along Arapahoe Road between Highway 287 and North 95th Street on the night of Tuesday, March 21st to the early morning of Wednesday, March 22nd. The work will take the water main in that area out of service between about 9:30pm and 6:00am. Affected customers were notified directly.

Office Closure March 28, 2023

The Administrative office will be closed from 9:00am-10:30am on Tuesday, March 28th, for a Staff Meeting. Operations staff will be working a normal schedule and as always, our 24-hour answering service will be available for any emergencies. Payments can always be made via Xpress Bill Pay by following the “Pay My Bill” link above.

Our .gov Move

Why have we moved to a .gov domain? Having a US-government verified .gov domain provides better security, transparency, and identifiability. Anyone can register a .org domain; because .gov domains are governed and overseen by the US federal government’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the public can be assured the website is an official government site.

Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

The Left Hand Water District is participating in the State of Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). The CDHS has received $15 million in funding for the program to assist low-income households with overdue water and wastewater bills. The District highly encourages customers struggling to pay their water bill to apply for this program.
